I spent some time teaching English in Russia. Turns-out that "Clockwork-speak" is a mix of English and Russian slang. chances are that if you watch the movie and don't recognize a word, more than likely it is Russian.

Mon, May 2, 2005 - 11:28 AMSome, not all, editions of the book (american printing) have a fairly comprehensive glossary & explanation (not from Burgess himself) about Nadsat's Russian roots. i.e., something really gread is "horrorshow", which, unless I miss my guess, is pretty close, phoenetically, to the russian word for the same general thing (korosho? I don't speak russian. Or spell it.).
